AKPTwelve military buildings of Tuol Krasaing safety fortress in Takmao district’s Takmao commune, Kandal province, have been put into use. The military barracks were inaugurated on Jan. 24 in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in charge of the Council Ministers’ office Sok An.Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Sok An, also representative of Prime Minister Samdech Decho Hun Sen, attached the body-guards’ importance to safety and security provided to the top government leaders, as well as to the political stability and social security being insured, thus contributing to the royal government policy’s poverty alleviation.In addition to safety and security offered to senior government officials, mainly Prime Minister Samdech Decho Hun Sen and his wife, the Cambodian premier’s body guards gave an urgent assistance to Cambodian victims living in area hit by flooding, draught, and storm.The barracks along with the laying of drainage system and other facilities, located on an area of more than five hectares, were constructed with a fund of more than 6.7 million U.S. dollars provided by the charity.
